While Siya believed he was filming a Youth Day campaign, Engen instead unveiled the collected tributes, playing the video back to him during the shoot. From warm wishes to personal thank-yous, the messages reflected just how much Siya means to millions of South Africans who have followed his incredible journey both on and off the rugby field.

As Siya watched the emotional video, he smiled, laughed, and was visibly moved by the outpouring of love. But the surprise didn’t end there. Studio doors then opened to reveal a youth choir, joined by fans, balloons, and a birthday cake, delivering a powerful live tribute to one of the country’s most admired leaders.
